Tomato Burgers
Instructions
For quick indoor barbecues! In skillet, melt 1 TBSP shortening; add 1 lb. ground beef, 1/2 cup chopped onion, 1/2 cup chopped celery, 1 tsp chili powder, 1/2 tsp. salt, dash pepper. Cook until meat is browned; stir and separate meat. Add 1 can Campbell’s Tomato Soup; simmer a few minutes. Serve on 6 toasted split buns. Add a mixed salad, for a supper the whole family will love!!!!
A collection recipes were that had been cut out from an old, old magazines Aunt May had saved and pasted in an old catalog. The pages were quite yellowed but the recipes looked great. Submitted by Michele Hunt
