| Cream Cheese Salad |

Filling:
2 pkgs. (3 oz.each) cream cheese softened
1 egg
2 Tbsp. flour
1 Tbsp. orange peel (grated)
1/2 cup sugar
Mix all the above ingredients & set aside
2/3 cups honey
1 tspsoda
2/3 cup milk
2-1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup shortening
1/3 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup nuts (optional)

| Instructions |
| Combine honey and milk. Sift together flour, sugar, soda and salt.
Add flour mixture, shortening and egg to milk mixture. Blend
at low speed 1 minute. Stir in nuts. Spread half of batter in a
greased 9 x 5 x 3 in. loaf pan. Spoon filling over batter and spoon
remaining batter on top. Bake at 325 degrees until bread tests
done, about 1 hour |
