| Chewy Butterscotch Nut Bars #1 |

Place in order in a 1 quart wide mouth canning jar, or a jar of your choice.
1/2 cup butterscotch chips
1/2 cup pecan pieces toasted
1/2 cup light brown sugar packed
1 cup buttermilk baking mix
1/2 cup dark brown sugar packed
1 cup buttermilk baking mix
If there is extra room fill to the top with extra butterscotch chips or pecan pieces.

| to prepare:
Empty contents of the jar into a medium bowl.
stir in
1 stick butter melted
1 large egg
1 teaspoon of vanilla
press into an 8x8x2" square baking pan that has been greased. bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Makes about 16 bars
