5 med. size sweet potatoes 1 c. sweet milk 2 c. sugar 4 eggs 1/2 lb. butter 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring |

| Instructions |
| Boil or bake sweet potatoes and mash sweet potatoes thoroughly. Add pecans or raisins if desired. Line pie plate with pastry. Pour mixture in pie plate. Bake until brown.
