German Meatballs
1 pound hamburger
7 milliliters mustard
desired amount onion, diced fine
125 milliliters brown sugar
2 milliliters salt
90 milliliters water
dash pepper
90 milliliters vinegar
1 egg, beaten
125 milliliters cracker crumbs or rolled oats
milk, enough to form balls
Sauce:125 milliliters ketchup
Instructions
Press together well (first 7 ingredients) and do not make meat balls too large ! Brown in a small amount of fat. Heat the sauce mixture. Place meatballs in a baking dish and pour sauce over them. Bake at 450 F for 40 - 45 min. Microwave : High for 10 - 12 min.
