French Meat Roll and Biscuit Dough
beef, minced (do not cook)
2 milliliters salt
60 milliliters celery, diced
Add To Biscuit Dough:3 milliliters dry mustard
30 milliliters green pepper, diced
3 milliliters parsley flakes
30 milliliters onion, diced
Sauce:
1/2 can cream of mushroom soup
7 milliliters worcestershire sauce
15 milliliters onion
30 milliliters catsup
15 milliliters green pepper
1 egg, unbeaten
mushrooms, sauteed
30 milliliters rolled oats
30 milliliters milk
Instructions
Oven 210 C. Prepare tea biscuit dough, adding dry mustard and parsley flakes to the dry ingredients. Roll dough to a 10" x 12" rectangle. Spread meat filling to 1" of edge. Roll up like a jelly roll, starting from the long side. Wet edge and seal. Place on greased tray and tuck ends under. Place in pre-heated oven for 30 min. Sauce: Heat and serve on roll.Notes:
Minced beef (25 min.- 30 min.) Jennifer's comment.
Serve with mushroom sauce. It is better to double the sauce mixture. (Jennifer's comment).

Start to finish: 1 hourBiscuit Dough:
500 milliliters flour
3 milliliters parsley flakes
20 milliliters baking powder
3 milliliters dry mustard
5 milliliters salt
90 milliliters shortening
180 milliliters milkMeasure all dry ingredients. Blend well with pastry blender. Add milk. Mix. Knead.
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Serving Ideas: Use for French Meat Roll.Roll out to 10"x12" shape.
