| 4 lb. beef brisket1 1/2 tsp. salt1 1/2 tsp. pepper2 tbsp. chili powder1 tsp. crushed bay leaves2 tbsp. Liquid Smoke |

| Instructions |
| Combine salt, pepper, chili powder and bay leaves. Rub meat completely with Liquid Smoke. Place meat, fat side up, in roasting pan. Sprinkle dry seasoning mixture on top. Cover tightly. Bake 4 hours at 325 degrees. Add a small amount of water in pan. Scrape seasoning off when cooking is complete and cut into very thin slices across the grain. Serve with barbecue sauce. . |
