Chocolate Almond Butterballs
2 sq. semi-sweet chocolate
1 tbsp. milk
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped almonds
Instructions
Melt chocolate in milk over hot water. Cool. Sift flour and salt together. Cream butter or margarine. Gradually add sugar and vanilla, creaming well. Blend in cooled chocolate mixture. Add dry ingredients gradually and mix thoroughly. Stir in almonds. Roll dough into balls using teaspoonful for each. Roll in granulated sugar before putting on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 12-15 minutes in 350 degree oven. Makes 96 small cookies.
