| 2 c. boiling liquid (fruit syrup from can plus water)1 (6 oz.) pkg. cherry-flavored gelatin2 c. dairy sour cream2 c. pitted dark sweet cherries or 1(1 lb.) can dark sweet cherries, drained1/3 c. slivered blanched almonds |

| Pour boiling liquid over gelatin in a mixer bowl, stirring until gelatin is dissolved. Cool. Add sour cream. Beat until smooth. Chill until slightly thickened but not set. Stir in cherries and almonds. Pour into a 6-cup mold or individual molds. Chill until firm. May garnish with additional cherries if desired.. |
