1 cup evaporated milk
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup flour
4 teaspoons chicken broth
1/4 teaspoon minced garlic
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
4 chicken breasts cooked, boned and chopped
1 (8 ounce( can mushrooms drained
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
Serves 6.
In a small saucepan over low heat melt butter. Whisk in flour. Add chicken broth and milk. Add garlic, salt and pepper. Continue to cook over low heat until sauce thickens. Add chicken and mushrooms. Heat through. Stir in cheese. Serve immediately over pasta.
