Crock Pot Barbecue Chicken
1/4 c. water
3 tbsp. catsup
3 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. lemon juice
3 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. margarine
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) ready to cook
broiler, fryer chicken, cut up
Instructions
Combine first 7 ingredients and seasonings in a saucepan; heat to boiling. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Place chicken in crock pot and pour sauce over it. Cook slowly overnight or on high for 6 or 7 hours. Can be used with pork or beef. Serves 2 to 4 people.
