Amish White Bread
6 cups bread flour
6 cups all purpose flour
2 tbs shortening
¼ cup butter
2 cups warm water
2 tsp salt
½ tsp dry yeast
½ tsp sugar
Instructions
Disolve yeast in warm water with sugar. Mix and add all the ingredients and kneed until smooth. Let it rise for two hours, form two loaves, place them in greased bread molds and let them rise for two hours. Bake in preheated oven (220°C) for 30-40 min. baked remove from molds and rub with butter.
