Amish pretzels
2 cups bread flour
2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 cup water
1 tsp yeast
dipping solution:
2 tbs baking soda
3 cups hot water
creamy butter, melted, for baked pretzels
Instructions
Disolve yeast in warm water with sugar and mix in rest of ingredients. Let it rise for half an hour, then form long ropes to shape in pretzel forms. Dip in prepared dipping solution, arrange in greased pan and sprinkle with salt. Bake in preheated oven (250°C) for 5-6 min, coat the tops of pretzels with some melted butter.
