3 cups sugar 1/3 to 2/3 cup cocoa 1/3 tsp salt 1 1/2 cup milk 1/3 cup butter 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Combine sugar, cocoa, salt and milk in a medium saucepan. Over medium-high heat, cook to softball stage, then add butter and vanilla. Beat with a wooden spoon until candy loses shine. Pour into buttered pan and allow to set before cutting.
