Cornbread Turkey Dressing
2 recipe of corn bread (crumbled)
10 c. white bread in bite-sizes, dry out bread in oven
2 med. onions, chopped
1 1/2 c. chopped celery
Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
Saute onions and celery in skillet with margarine or butter. Add to bread mixture. Pour part of giblet drippings or broth in which some gizzard, liver and neck were boiled over bread mixture. Add enough hot water to make it moist. Add some of the liquid that cooked from turkey. Mash mixture. Cook dressing in foil covered pan. Remove foil to brown. 1 hour baking time. Make gravy from turkey drippings. Add "Kitchen Bouquet" to brown gravy.
