Fruit Salad With Almond Dressing

1/2 c. whipping cream
1/3 c. mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. almond extract
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. slivered almonds
1 head lettuce, shredded
1 (16 oz.) can sliced Bartlett pears,
drained
2 med. apples, cored and thinly sliced
1 banana, peeled and sliced

Instructions

Beat cream with sugar until stiff. Fold in mayonnaise, juice and extract. Stir in 1/4 cup almonds. In salad bowl, place lettuce; arrange fruit on top. Sprinkle with remaining almonds. Pour dressing over salad and toss lightly.
