1 package (5 1/2 oz.) slivered almonds
2 c. real mayonnaise
2 T. lemon juice
2 1/2 T. soy sauce
1 heaping T. curry powder
3 c. chicken or turkey cooked and cut in chunks or 1 1/2 c. crabmeat or 1 1/2 c. shrimp
1 T. onion juice (or finely grated)
1 T. chutney (expensive and doesn't add much)
1 1/2 c. chopped celery
1 can (6 oz.) water chestnuts, drained and sliced
2 c. seedless grapes
1 can (15 3/4 oz.) pineapple chunks, drained |

| Instructions |
| Mix mayonnaise, lemon juice, soy sauce, curry powder, onion juice and chutney. Assemble all other ingredients except nuts. Toss with nuts just before serving. Serves 8.
Note: This salad can be made 1 day ahead of time. |
