1 package sugar cookie dough

15 red hard candies
1. On a sheet of wax paper that has been sprinkled with flour, roll out the tube of cookie dough with a rolling pin to the thickness of 1\4 ".
2. Line a cookie sheet with foil.
3. Cut out the dough with the 3" star shaped coolie cutter and place stars on the foil lined cookie sheet.
4. Use the smaller star shaped cutter to cut out the center of each cookie.
remove the smaller star shaped dough and save.
5. Place the hard candy in a plastic bag and crush finely with a rolling pin.
6. Spoon the crushed candies into the star shaped center, using enough candy to cover the shape of the star cutout.
7. Bake the large cookies in a 375 degree oven for 8 minutes or until cookies are golden brown. Bake the little ones at 375 degrees for four minutes or until golden brown.
