for the Candy Cane Bath Salts:
8 c. % 2B 8 c. Epsom Salts, separated
3 c. % 2B 3 c. sea salt, separated
1/4 tsp. % 2B 1/4 tsp. glycerin, separated
7 drops % 2B 7 drops peppermint essential oil
14 drops red food color
for the Peaches and Cream Bath Salts:
8 c. % 2B 8 c. Epsom Salts, separated
3 c. % 2B 3 c. sea salt, separated
1/4 tsp. % 2B 1/4 tsp. glycerin, separated
7 drops % 2B 7 drops essential oil
7 drops % 2B 7 drops orange food color
Use 12, 12oz. canning jars for either mix.
Pour 8 cups Epsom Salt in a large bowl. Add 3 c. sea salt and mix well. Add 1/4 tsp. glycerin to every 7 drops of essential oil. Add food coloring and blend well. In another large bowl, pour 8 c. Epsom Salt. Add 3 c. sea salt and mix well. Add 1/4 tsp. glycerin to every 7 drops of essential oil and blend well. Alternate colored mixture and white mixture while adding the salts to the jar. Seal and decorate the
jars, and attach recipe tags.
