2 c. small white pea beans
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1 bay leaf
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
1 1/2 tsp. salt |

| Mix and store in an airtight jar.
Attach the following to the jar:
Boston Baked Beans
1 jar bean mix
2 slices diced bacon
4 3/4 c. water
3/4 c. chopped onion
1 minced garlic clove
3 tbsp. dark molasses
2 tbsp. mustard
Combine all ingredients in a crockpot/slow cooker or bean pot.
Cook on low in crockpot for 10 - 12 hours, or at 300 in oven,
stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
Makes 8 - 10 servings.
