Place all ingredients in order in a 1 quart wide mouth canning jar or jar of your choice.
1/2 cup old fashion oats
1/2 cup mini M&M's candies
1/2 cup light brown sugar packed
1 cup buttermilk baking mix
1/2 cup dark brown sugar packed
1 cup buttermilk baking mix
If there is extra room top off with more M&M's..
to prepare:
Empty contents of Jar into a medium bowl. stir in :
1 stick butter melted
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
Press into a 8x8x2" greased pan. bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
Makes about 16 bars.
Applesauce Cookie Mix in a Jar

2 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. raisins
1 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. chopped nuts
Use a one quart wide mouth canning jar. Pack each layer. Stir together the flour, salt, cinnamon and baking soda and place into the jar. Pour in the raisins, spreading evenly in the jar. Next, add the brown sugar. Pour in the chopped nuts.
If have some empty space, can place some plastic baggies to fill the space. Decorate your jar. Tie on a ribbon and attach the recipe tag to the jar. Attach recipe tag to the jar:
