2 c. sugar 1/2 c. milk 1/2 c. butter 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. peanut butter 3 c. rolled oats (quick or regular)
Combine sugar, milk, butter and salt, in a heavy 3 quart pot. Stir. Bring to a full boil. Boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and peanut butter. Stir until smooth. Add rolled oats. Mix well. Cool until mixture holds shape, slightly. Drop by teaspoon onto waxed paper. Cool. Makes about 4 dozen clusters.
