1 large pkg. of strawberry Jell-o
1 can of whole cranberry sauce
1 15 oz. can of pineapple, crushed, cubed or spears
1 small can mandarin oranges well drained
1/2 cup celery, chopped fine
1/2 cup walnuts chopped fine
1 small jar maraschino cherries, quartered and well drained
8 oz. container of cool whip
Melt Jell-0 in two cups boiling water. You will not use the 2 cups of cold water called for on the box.
While the Jell-o is dissolving, break up the cranberry sauce in a small bowl, and add it to the hot Jell-o.
The hot Jell-0 helps the cranberries sauce to mix better.
Add the can of pineapple including the juice. Add oranges and rest of ingredients except for cool whip. Mix well, check every hour and stir so fruit is evenly divided and not all on the top. Let it set until thick. Spread container of cool whip over the top before serving.
