2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
2 tsp. double action baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
6 tbsp. butter or margarine
2 eggs, separated
2 c. milk
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Work in butter as for pie crust. Add slightly beaten egg yolks mixed with milk. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake in heated waffle iron 4 to 5 minutes. Yield - 7 waffles, seven inches in diameter
