Frozen Cabbage Salad
1 lg. head cabbage, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1 carrot, grated
1 green pepper, finely grated
SYRUP
2 c. sugar
1 c. white vinegar
1/4 c. water
1 tbsp. mustard seed
1 tsp. celery seed
Instructions
Mix cabbage, salt, carrot and pepper. Let stand 1 hour. Squeeze out while cabbage is draining make syrup. SYRUP: Mix and let boil 1 minute. Let cool until barely luke warm and pour over cabbage mixture. Place in container and freeze.
