Ginger Bread
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 beaten egg
2-1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. light molasses
1/2 c. honey
1 c. hot water
Instructions
Melt butter. Let cool. Beat sugar and egg together and add butter. Sift all dry ingredients together. Mix all liquids together, add dry and liquid alternately to butter mixture. Bake in a greased 13" rectangular pan for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
