1 c. dates, finely chopped 3/4 c. honey 4 tbsp. butter or margarine 2 eggs 2 c. Rice Krispies 1/2 c. nuts, chopped fine Baked coconut |

| Instructions |
| Beat eggs. Stir in dates and honey. Melt butter in heavy pan. (Cast iron skillet works great.) Stir mixture of eggs, dates and honey into melted butter. Over medium to low heat, cook 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, stir in cereal and nuts. When cool to handle (but still warm) form into 1 inch balls, roll in coconut. Really good! Yield: 6 to 7 dozen. Store in airtight container.
